Hi. I’m glad you stopped by. While you’re here, let me tell you a little about why this website exists.
As far back as I can remember, I’ve been a creative wannabe. But articles and quizzes about left- and right-brain dominance always tagged me as a left-brain thinker, someone who tends to be logical and analytical. My left brain was the workhorse during my career as a software developer and continues to carry me now as a technical writer.
About five years into my technical writing career, with “writer” firmly ensconced in my title, my right brain began to nudge me with thoughts of writing as a creative outlet. I started crafting personal essays and had my first published piece included in one of the well-known Chicken Soup for the Soul compilations. A feature story in the national publication Farm & Ranch Living followed.
